Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian Minister of Defense, received the prestigious honor of the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama from the Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, at the Rupatama Building, National Police Headquarters in Jakarta, on Thursday (20/6).
Prabowo arrived at the Rupatama Building at 14:30 WIB, dressed in a gray suit and a black peci, and was warmly welcomed with a red carpet. He was greeted by a guard of honor and there were four horses, ridden by female police officers, to welcome his arrival.
During the ceremony, Prabowo was briefed about the history of the Indonesian National Police. The singing of the Indonesian national anthem and the reading of the presidential decree on the award marked the beginning of the ceremony.
Prabowo was awarded the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama in recognition of his significant contributions to the development and progress of the police force in Indonesia. The Chief of Police personally pinned and draped the honor onto Prabowo, followed by a photo session, salute, and precision greetings.
Notable figures present at the ceremony included the Deputy Chief of Police, Commissioner General Agus Andrianto, and other high-ranking police officials. Representatives from the Ministry of Defense, including the Deputy Minister of Defense and the Head of Public Relations, also attended to offer their congratulations to Prabowo.
