Indonesian Diaspora in Middle East Optimistic about Prabowo

President Prabowo Subianto’s recent visit to Middle Eastern countries like Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025 has garnered positive responses from members of the Indonesian diaspora, particularly students. Maulidya Nur Islami, representing the Indonesian community in Turkey, expressed pride and joy at the President’s visit, viewing it as a significant moment for both countries. Meanwhile, Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif appreciated Prabowo’s personal attention and direct interaction with them during the visit, anticipating stronger cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki conveyed enthusiasm on behalf of the Indonesian community, hoping that Prabowo’s visit would encourage them to continue bringing honor to Indonesia. The Indonesian diaspora in Egypt also welcomed Prabowo’s visit, believing in its positive impact on educational development for Indonesian students in the country. Overall, diaspora members in these nations offered prayers and good wishes as Prabowo embarks on his leadership journey. Since April 9, President Prabowo has engaged in official visits to various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
